It was great to finally talk to Aaron 'O Neill and Eoghan Galligan of fuzzed out sludge merchants Slung from a Tree. The lads are based in Kerry/Limerick and have steadily been building up a large following over the years, blitzing fans up and down the country with their own brand of stoner/sludge riffs.

It was great to catch up with Bones Holohan guitarist with Dread Sovereign who currently resides in Brussels. Bones spent most of his teens playing and touring with bands around Ireland. Never one to turn down the offer of an adventure, it's fair to say that the life of a touring musician certainly appealed to Bones. The interview has a nice few tales of life on the road, insights into the recording of the new album and a history of the band.

When Dave Hynes (Vocals) & Jason Connelly (Drums) joined up to form Grave Sermon with Cory (bass), Mark (guitars) and Gavin (guitars) it was to answer the call to make nasty, filthy Death Metal. The release of Whitewashed Tomb in 2019 got plenty of air play however Gavin soon left and was replaced by the excellent Greg Clarke of Parhelia. We talk to guitarist John Cooke who also tours with Napalm Death and Anaal Nathrakh as a live guitarist and Tom Dring who runs a studio called Vagrant Recordings, where he produces a whole manner of filth for bands like Venom Prison, Venomous Concept and Video Nasties.
