It was a pleasure to welcome Dan Pearson (Lead Vocals/Guitar), Ben Keating (Vocals/Guitar) & Moe Curtain (Bass) of Chemical Addiction to the podcast. The Kilkenny four-piece with Daire Nolan on Drums released an incredible EP called 'Backburner' in 2023, which was the culmination of many years of touring and releasing singles.
Here's Pat O'Regan of The Smashing Skull Sessions take on it: 'There are many grunge tribute bands out there plying their trade, and good luck to them all, but if you want to savor the grunge experience properly, why not absorb it through original music and from a band that are playing at a very high level. Backburner is a slab of alternative rock that will appeal to many tastes. It has a bite to it and an energy emanating from it, that’s downright infectious.'
