We jump back in time with Bob (drummer of Slave Zero/Nearly Dead Jim), Ben (vox/guitarist of Chemical Addiction), Jimmy (vox/guitarist of Itchy Trigger Finger/The Trigger Within) and my co-host Evan to discuss the Kilkenny Metal Scene that sprung up in the 90's. Whilst some Kilkenny bands like Kerb Dog and Engine Alley rose to prominence; there was another bunch of younger sometimes extreme, metal bands waiting in the shadows. Gout, Slave Zero, Victimised, Chemical Addiction, Attrax Mantis and Alt rockers Itchy Trigger Finger were all playing to jam packed venues in Kilkenny and were bringing in bands from outside the county as well. We discuss how important the Metal Scene was to the lads back in the day and try to figure out how it finally fizzled out in the naughties. It was great to sit in on this with local music legends Bob, Ben, Jimmy & Evan and if you enjoyed it, please hit that subscribe button. Thanks Richie.
